Okla. Sees Warm, Sunny Weather Midweek Prior To Potentially Severe Weekend

Oklahoma will see a couple of nice, warm, and sunny days ahead before severe weather chances increase.

Friday isolated storms will try to fire on the dryline in the Texas panhandle. Those storms will make their way into western Oklahoma into the evening. We may not see very many storms on Friday, but any storm that fires out west will need to be monitored closely.

The storms Friday and Friday night will impact the setup and threats on Saturday.

Saturday we could see two waves of rain and storms. The first wave would be early in the morning and could be severe. The second in the afternoon or evening with severe weather possible again.

Sunday looks quiet with a weak cold front arriving. The atmosphere will quickly reload and more severe weather will be possible Monday and Tuesday of next week.
