It’s a struggle for many families to provide diapers and food for their babies and toddlers each week. One in four babies in Oklahoma live in poverty, putting them at a moderate to high risk for developmental delay. Infant Crisis Services works tirelessly to ensure families have the resources to diaper and feed their babies. It’s the core of the organization’s mission.
Infant Crisis Services is also doing its part to make sure babies and toddlers are safe on the road. The organization partners with Safe Kids Oklahoma and Church of the Servant on a bimonthly basis to provide new car seats to families in need.
To receive a car seat, the parent or guardian must be present and have proof they receive some form of government assistance. The child must be present or mother must be within six weeks of her due date. Seats are provided on a first come, first served basis.
Infant Crisis Services asks for a $10 donation for each car seat. Please call 405-528-3663 for information about the next car seat event.
