So the NBA Finals begin next week, but next Thursday? Oops! I guess we'll have to settle for re-runs and over-analysis between now and then on what should be an entertaining series between the Warriors (Stephen Curry) and Cavs (LeBron James).
I'll have to admit I haven't watched much of the playoffs since Oklahoma City found out their fate the hard way in Minneapolis on the last night of the regular season.
I suspect Golden State will win this series in seven games. LeBron is so tough, but the home-court advantage counts in the playoffs. Curry looks to be on a mission to bring a title to the Bay Area and having Klay Thompson as a sidekick doesn't hurt.
Speaking of Curry, remember OKC could have picked Curry instead of James Harden in 2009. James went third to the Thunder and Curry slipped to Golden State at No. 7. Wonder if Curry would still be in OKC or playing for the Rockets?
