A small earthquake rattled residents in the Lamont area Friday morning.
The 3.1 magnitude temblor was recorded just after 9 a.m., six miles west of Lamont.
There have been no reports of damage or injuries.
While Oklahoma has seen a steady decrease in earthquakes over the past couple of years, they're still happening and geologists want to know why.
