A 3.0 magnitude earthquake was reported in far northern Oklahoma, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake struck at approximately 1:05 a.m. Thursday near the Oklahoma-Kansas border; approximately 2 miles northeast of Renfrow, 6 miles south of Caldwell, and more than 100 miles north of Oklahoma City.
According to the preliminary report, the earthquake was approximately 3.7 miles in depth.
No injuries associated with the earthquake were reported.
