Police Arrest Suspect Wanted In Connection With Fatal Del City Hit-And-Run
Authorities have arrested a man accused of leaving the scene of a deadly hit-and-run in Del City.
Police responded around 6 p.m. Monday, March 9 to an auto-pedestrian accident at Southeast 44th Street and Sooner Road.
The woman struck by the vehicle died at the scene.
Investigators were able to locate the white 2006 Chevy Malibu that allegedly hit the victim. The driver was identified as 21-year-old Donovan Laron Breath. Police said damage to Breath’s vehicle matched debris found at the scene of the accident. He was arrested Thursday, March 12 without incident, police said.
Breath is facing charges of leaving the scene of ab accident resulting in death and negligent homicide.
Authorities said they are still searching for the silver Nissan X-Terra and its driver.
