Cutting Board Cleaner

  • Cutting board
  • Lemons, cut in half
  • Kosher salt
  • Cleaning rag
  • Warm water

To clean a cutting board remove all stuck on bits with a knife or metal spatula. Sprinkle the top of the chopping board with kosher salt and rub with lemon cut side down. Work the salt into the board until it dissolves. Rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly. Always store a recently dampened curing board on its side to keep from warping.
