Oklahoma City Doctor Gives Advice On Coronavirus
The first U.S. coronavirus case of unknown origin has been confirmed by the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention.
Health Experts now say a pandemic in the U.S. isn't just a possibility but is likely.
For weeks now Dr. Noel Williams has been researching the coronavirus and has a bleak prediction.
“We can believe it’s going to be a pandemic,” said Dr. Williams, who has been posting videos online about what people should be doing to prepare.
“I would absolutely encourage everyone to be on a multi-vitamin at this point,” said Williams.
The Oklahoma City physician said you should be taking another pill as well, Zinc.
He recommends 25 to 50 milligrams each day for those over 100 pounds.
The pills should be taken with food to avoid an upset stomach.
Kids should be taking 5 to 10 milligrams according to Williams.
“We want to have a lot of zinc in our systems because zinc directly inhibits the replication of the virus, so even if it gets into the cell it can’t keep reproducing and it’s relatively harmless,” said Williams.
Williams thinks all physicians should be sharing this information with their patients before a possible coronavirus pandemic.
“All the computer modeling indicates it’s going to happen and the computer modeling for viral infection is very accurate now,” added Williams.
