Perfect Picnic Slaw

  • 1 package refrigerated shredded slaw mix
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1 red or yellow sweet pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt (cabbage mix)
  • Salt and pepper
  1. In a small bowl whisk together the vinegar, brown sugar, vegetable oil & salt/pepper.
  2. Put all the veggies in a medium sized bowl and sprinkle with salt.
  3. Drizzle the dressing over the slaw veggies & toss together.
  4. Allow the slot to chill in the refrigerator before serving.
  5. This law gets better and better as it sits in the vinaigrette.
  6. Serve on top of your pool pork sandwich for a true barbecue treat.
