News On 6 Gov. Stitt has vetoed a bill that would have allowed some nurse practitioners to apply for the authority to prescribe medications without a doctor's supervision. Stitt said that he did not find the bill to be a "prudent solution" to the challenges facing healthcare in rural communities.
