Tips for looking younger
It's amazing how a little attention to your hair and make up can completely transform the way you look.
Take the woman in our story today, she's 47, wore minimal make up and liked to just blow dry her hair and go.
Anthony David Salon showed her how to freshen up her look with just a little more make up (mainly on the eyes) and how a little more styling to her hair could literally shave off a few years.
Another tip to looking younger can also be found by adding bangs. On prevention.com an article cited Travis Speck, a stylist at Bumble and Bumble in New York City, who says bangs will give you an instant face lift after 40.
You can conceal up a crinkly forehead and help take attention off of crows feet around the eyes, that's IF you know what bang style will work for you.
If you have a round face- cut layered wispy pieces that graze the tops of your brows.
If you have a square face-
wear bangs long and swept to the side to soften the angles.
If you have a long face-add blunt bangs that fall just above brows, giving fullness to a thin face.
Anthony says be careful though, not everyone can pull off bangs. You may be better off just working with your hair color, keeping it natural looking, and maintaining a fresh, modern hair cut.
