Donna Lawrence was wrapped up in her career, but a breast cancer diagnosis forced the single mom to reorganize her life.
"In the blink of an eye I felt fear," she said. "I was kinda mad at God, I was shocked. I knew there was a question. The spot on my mammogram was so small I didn't really expect it to be anything."
It was a wakeup call that led Lawrence to become a life coach.
"A really funny thing happened," she said. "I started hearing this little voice, and it was saying ‘hey, you need to take care of yourself. You've been taking care of everyone else.'"
Donna quit her job. Reorganized her life and became a life coach.
"We help people identify obstacles that keep people from living the life that they want to live and then help them move forward to overcome those obstacles," she said.
Lawrence helps people like Deborah McAuliffesenner.
McAuliffesenner said she found out she was a slave to her email. So she cut it out, only replying at designated times.
"I was doing it; it was kinda like my husband saw changes, saw that I was very invigorated," McAuliffesenner said. "My husband started doing it as well.
