Questions remain in the death of Carlos Sousa Jr., 17; who died after a tiger attacked him at the San Francisco Zoo.

The zoo remained closed Thursday as San Francisco Police are investigating how the 300-pound animal was able to escape her cage that consisted of an 18-foot wall and a 20-foot moat. Two teenagers were also injured in the attack and are expected to be released in several days. Police shot the tiger, Tatiana, to death moments after receiving the call.

"We are gathering not only physical evidence from a number of areas in the zoo and the vicinity of where the attacks occurred, we're also taking statements," Heather Fong, Chief of San Francisco Police, told CBS NEWS.
