Tulsa police are investigating the death of a 32-year-old man after a fight at a Tulsa home.

Officers were called to the home near 1500 S. Columbia Ave. around 2:10 a.m. on May 15 for a report of a fight in progress.

When officers arrived, they found Connor McElveen unresponsive in the front yard. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

According to investigators, McElveen had lived at the residence but moved out several months ago. The incident began the night before, when McElveen came to the house to collect some of his belongings. Police said a verbal altercation occurred between McElveen and the current residents, and that he returned multiple times throughout the evening, damaging property during at least one of the visits.

Around 2 a.m. on Thursday, police say McElveen came back to the home and started a physical fight with two of the male roommates. During the altercation, McElveen sustained serious injuries. The two men attempted CPR before emergency crews arrived.

The District Attorney will determine whether any charges will be filed.
