Pipeline explosion reported in Woodward County near Mutual

Emergency crews are responding to a reported pipeline explosion in Woodward County, just northeast of the town of Mutual.

According to the Woodward Fire Department, the explosion occurred near South County Road 216 and East County Road 53, at approximately 11:45 a.m. Crews are actively working the scene as of Sunday afternoon.

Officials have not yet confirmed which company owns the pipeline involved, but officials are en route to the site to assist.

There is no immediate word on injuries or evacuations.
