Authorities have blocked off the area near 108th Avenue Southeast and Post Oak as crews work to contain fires.

Authorities have blocked off the area near 108th Avenue Southeast and Post Oak as crews work to contain fires.

Thick smoke is visible north and south of Lake Thunderbird. Multiple homes have burned, and residents in Norman are urged to evacuate if they haven’t already.

Reunification centers for anyone in the Norman/Lake Thunder Bird are at:

  1. CrossPointe Church
  2. Noble High
