1 arrested in connection to Edmond hit-and-run

One person was arrested in connection to a hit-and-run crash on Northwest 178th Street, where icy conditions made the roads treacherous, according to News 9’s Val Castor.

The crash left one person injured and transported to the hospital, though the injuries were not believed to be serious. Castor reported that a vehicle rear-ended another at high speed, pushing it into a curb before the driver fled the scene. Authorities later made an arrest in connection to the incident.

Castor also noted that roads in the area remain extremely slick, warning that even standing on the ice is difficult. Drivers are urged to use caution if travel is necessary.
