SW OKC pursuit ends in crash, driver arrested

One person was arrested after a pursuit ended in a crash Monday morning in southwest Oklahoma City, according to police.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office said officers initiated a pursuit shortly after 9 a.m.

OCSO said the driver officers were pursuing later crashed into another vehicle in the intersection of Southwest 29th Street and South Council Road.

After a short foot chase, OCSO said the driver was arrested and is in police custody.

It is unknown if there were any injuries resulting from the crash.

No names have been released at this time.
