NW OKC house fire caused by space heater

Firefighters say a space heater was the cause of a house fire Monday morning in Oklahoma City.

A home caught fire Monday morning in northwest Oklahoma City, according to firefighters.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department said crews were called at around 12:30 a.m. to a residence near Northwest 32nd Street and North MacArthur Boulevard.

After arriving at the scene, OKCFD said firefighters were able to extinguish a blaze coming from the front of a home in the area.

Firefighters said a space heater caused the fire.

There were no injuries.
