Two people are injured after a shooting Friday morning in southeast Oklahoma City, police say.

Oklahoma City Police say that around 10:04 a.m., officers responded to a call near Interstate 240 and South Eastern Avenue.

Several callers told police that someone was shot and one caller said they saw a black car speed off after the shot was heard.

Police say that officers arrived on the scene and found a 26-year-old male and a 27-year-old female with gunshot injuries.

Police confirm that it is believed the suspect shot one time, striking both victims.

What led to the shooting is not yet known, but police say this is a possible road rage incident.

Police say that the victims were transported from the scene to a local hospital in stable condition.

OCPD is currently searching for a suspect, although there is no information available at this time.
