No Injuries Reported After Car Crashes Into Norman Apartment

No injuries were reported after a car crashed into an apartment in Norman Friday evening, police say.

Norman Police Department confirmed that officers responded to a report of a hit-and-run around 5:57 p.m. in the 900 block of Southwest 24th Avenue.

NPD stated that initial investigations indicated that a vehicle drove into an apartment building, and then left the scene.

Officers located the vehicle nearby, and it was confirmed to be a stolen vehicle, according to NPD.

Police said the collision caused heavy damage to the building, but no injuries were reported.
