Body Found In SW OKC Thursday, Police Investigating

A body was found in water, in southwest Oklahoma City on Thursday afternoon, according to police.

Oklahoma City Police are at the scene near South Santa Fe Avenue and Southeast 59th Street.

The dive team was on the scene and recovered the body. OKCFD was also on the scene and shared on social media that crews were waiting for the medical examiners to arrive on scene.

OKCFD confirmed that someone on a bike made the discovery around 4:00 p.m. Thursday.

Police are investigating.
