Significant Traffic Backup On I-44 NB

Traffic is backed up on Interstate 44 in northbound lanes, south of I-40. I-44 northbound is down to one lane.

The congestion is due to a semitruck in one of the northbound lanes. According to Jim Gardner in Bob Mills Sky News 9, who was over the scene, it appears that the semitruck braked suddenly, causing the cargo to shift and break through the trailer and into the cab.

There do not appear to be any injuries at this time.
