Oklahoma Woman Found Dead On Barge In Tennessee

A woman from Oklahoma was found dead on a barge in the Mississippi River in Shelby County, Tennessee.

The woman was identified as Hailey Silas, 22, by the Shelby County Sheriff's Office.

Shelby deputies were called to the river south of the Shelby Forest at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, according to the sheriff's office. Deputies were told that a barge traveling on the river had found a woman's body on top of the barge, according to the sheriff's office.

Authorities are investigating the situation.
