Former Cleveland Co. Deputy Charged With Wife's Murder

A former Cleveland County deputy has been charged with the first-degree murder of his wife, according to court documents.

Authorities arrested Vaughn Cannon last week after court documents reveal a teenager in the house called police after hearing five gunshots.

Detectives who interviewed Cannon said Cannon told them he remembered hearing gunshots and called a family member who told him to surrender to the authorities.

Cannon's wife, Jordan Cannon, was also a Cleveland County deputy.

Funeral services for Jordan Cannon are scheduled for Thursday afternoon in Oklahoma City.
