After a day and night of severe storms and tornadoes, the state of Oklahoma is looking for a little bit of relief before more storms set in.
The rain is let up by 5 a.m. in the Oklahoma City metro. Lows are projected to be in the mid to lower 60s on Sunday morning, which will be great for the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon.
Rain chances do return though on Sunday afternoon.
Following damage resulting from severe weather Saturday and Sunday, several roads across Oklahoma are facing closures.
In Hughes County, all lanes of north and southbound State Highway 48 are closed between State Highway 9 East and US-270 near Holdenville due to severe weather clean-up.
In Murray County near Sulphur, all lanes of State Highway 7 and US-177 are closed due to severe weather clean-up
