A tornado briefly touched down Saturday afternoon in Woodward County, causing slight damage to structures surrounding the town of Mutual.

Woodward County Emergency Manager Matt Lehenbauer said two barns near the town were destroyed. One barn was located a mile west of the town, and the other located a quarter-mile south of Mutual.

High winds also disrupted an outdoor event in Woods County near the town of Capron. The event was reportedly a wedding being held in a large tent, and there were some injuries reported. The extent of those injuries is not yet known.

Even though western and central Oklahoma are largely out of the woods for severe weather Saturday night, there are still counties under a tornado watch until 11 p.m.
