Tornadoes and severe storms impacted much of Oklahoma on Saturday as a wave of severe weather moved across the state from mid-morning well into the night. That includes a tornado that formed and moved through the southwest part of the Oklahoma City metro area, including parts of Norman on Saturday night.
The situation as of 9:30 p.m. was serious enough that the Oklahoma Highway Patrol closed parts of I-35 in Norman.

The storm moved northward and is impacting Oklahoma and Lincoln counties. A tornado warning was issued for those counties until 10:45 p.m.
After 10, a tornado was reported near Ardmore.
There is a tornado watch for much of the News 9 viewing area, including the Oklahoma City metro area until 3 a.m.

A tornado watch has been issued for Alfalfa, Beckham, Blaine, Caddo, Canadian, Comanche, Custer, Dewey, Garfield, Grady, Greer, Harmon, Jackson, Kay, Kingfisher, Logan, Major, Noble, Roger Mills, Tillman, Washita, Woods and Woodward County until 8:00 p.m.
