A fantastic day is underway! A bit cool out the door Tuesday morning before warming into the 70s in the afternoon. Skies will clear from west to east today.
From Tuesday night into Wednesday morning there will be a chance for a few showers and storms in the northwestern part of the state. Wednesday afternoon will be mild with partly cloudy skies and highs in the 70s. Storms will try to develop in the panhandles and may bring rain into far western Oklahoma.
Thursday morning, a complex of storms will try to move into the west. Another round of storms is likely Thursday afternoon into Friday morning as the cold front approaches. These storms could be severe.
Friday afternoon and evening we will be tracking the cold front pressing south with widespread rain and storms. The tornado threat for the end of the week looks very low at this point. This will bring nearly statewide rain!
The weekend ahead looks beautiful!
