Jones Police Investigating Report Of Attempted Kidnapping

Officers in Jones are investigating a report of an attempted kidnapping.

The incident happened while a child was walking home from school on Wednesday.

Police said the suspect is a white man in his mid-30s driving an older model champagne extended cab truck. 

Police have stepped up patrols around local schools in response.
