It's back to school week for schools around the metro. Oklahoma City started classes Monday. Other districts will return later this week.

For those leading those districts it will be another challenging year as they attempt to bring kids back into the classroom and up to speed academically and socially all while planning for another possible surge in COVID cases.

Kelly Ogle and Amanda Taylor sat down for a candid conversation with some metro superintendents.

They talked to Oklahoma City Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Sean McDaniel, Yukon Superintendent Dr. Jason Simeroth and new Edmond Superintendent Dr. Angela Mills Grunewald about a variety of topics including  how this year will look, what will happen if there’s a surge in cases, and how they plan on dealing with the emotional, social and educational impacts of last year.
