MWC Police Identify Person Found In Car In Creek

Midwest City police identified the person found dead inside a vehicle in a creek on Sunday.

Emergency crews were called about 8:20 p.m. Sunday in reference to a upside-down vehicle in Crutcho Creek.

The vehicle was found by two people who were fishing in the area, police said.

When crews arrived, they found a person was dead in the vehicle.

Tracy Lesley, 47, of Midwest City, was identified as the person inside the vehicle.

Investigators think the vehicle left the roadway and ended up in the creek sometime in the last few days.

The state medical examiner's office will determine the cause of death, but police do not suspect foul play.
