OSBI Offers Higher Reward For Information Connected To Choctaw County Murder

One year after a Hugo man was killed, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation increased its reward Sunday for information tied to finding the suspects connected to the crime.

One year after a Hugo man was killed, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation increased its reward Sunday for information tied to finding potential suspects connected to the crime.

The body of 27-year-old Jatavion Alexander was found with a single gunshot wound by the Hugo Police Department during the early morning hours of July 4, 2020.

Last year, the Hugo Police Department requested OSBI's assistance in the investigation.

After posting an initial reward of $5,000 for any information connected to the case, OSBI upped its reward to $10,000.
