Tulsa police were called to the scene of a crash involving a pickup truck that drove through the garage of a home near East 91st Street and Riverside Parkway early Monday morning.

According to police, it all happened around 3:30 a.m. when Wesley Rhea came around a corner in the neighborhood too quickly and hit a mailbox before plowing into the garage of the home.

Police said Rhea crashed through the exterior wall of the garage before coming to a stop.

Two cars were inside the garage at the time of the crash. One car suffered only minor damage while the other car suffered significant damage.

Police said that Rhea told officers that he was heading to Broken Arrow.

According to police, he appeared intoxicated but refused a breathalyzer test and was taken to jail on suspicion of DUI.

Both the driver and the homeowners were uninjured.
