OHP Troopers Identify Victim Involved In Fatal Crash On Highway 74

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has identified the individuals involved in a fatal crash along Highway 74 on Sunday afternoon. According to troopers, 36-year-old Alfonso Herrera was traveling northbound on Highway 74 with two children in his car when the front side tire of his vehicle blew out, causing the vehicle to veer left of center and strike an oncoming vehicle traveling southbound.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has identified the individuals involved in a fatal crash along Highway 74 on Sunday afternoon.

According to troopers, 36-year-old Alfonso Herrera was traveling northbound on Highway 74 with two children in his car when the front side tire of his vehicle blew out, causing the vehicle to veer left of center and strike an oncoming vehicle traveling southbound.

The impacted vehicle, driven by 22-year-old Summer Jimenez, had one passenger inside at the time of the crash.

58-year-old Virginia Hill, the passenger of the impacted vehicle, was pronounced dead by medical professionals after being taken to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City via Medi-flight.
