Parts of eastbound Interstate 44 were closed Friday morning after a semi-carrying pounds of cheese was hit by a wrong-way driver.
Oklahoma City Police said just before 12 a.m., the driver of a Kia Soul was going the wrong way on I-44 when it hit the semi and then crashed into another vehicle.
Eastbound I-44 and portions of Interstate 235 were closed for over four hours.
Four people were involved in the crash. Two people were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries, but are expected to be okay.
This is a developing story.
