All-Clear Given After Star Spencer High School Evacuated Due To Threat

Star Spencer High School was evacuated Thursday after a threat was made, school officials said.

Oklahoma County deputies gave the all-clear shortly after 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

The threat became known Thursday morning and students and staff left the building a short time later.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office said the school received a bomb threat over the phone.

The department's bomb squad is checking the building. Students and staff were taken to a safe location off campus.
