State Health Commissioner Issues Statement In Response To Decrease In COVID-19 Cases

State Health Commissioner Dr. Lance Frye has issued a statement in response to the decrease in COVID-19 case numbers.

Commissioner Frye said that the significant drop in cases prompted the health department to investigate their sources and the reporting system.

According to Commissioner Frye, after looking into their sources the department can verify that the reports are accurate.

Commissioner Frye said, "I want to thank Oklahomans for continuing to be vigilant in taking precautions to safeguard yourself and those around you, including wearing a mask."

Commissioner Frye went added that the department will continue to monitor cases and report data transparently.
