OKCPS Closes Schools And Offices For Oct. 30

Oklahoma City Public Schools announced Thursday that it will close its schools and offices for Friday, Oct. 30.

The district described Friday as a non-instructional day which means teachers and students are not expected to participate in remote learning. Curbside meal pickup and other district activities are also canceled Friday.

The instructional time lost Friday will be made up on Tuesday, June 1, 2021.

OKCPS said they do expect "essential maintenance personnel" to report for work on Friday.
