OG&E crews have been staged throughout the city while working to restore powers to hundreds of thousands of Oklahomans without it.

Right now, they have over 2,500 personnel working on the streets from Texas and nine other states.

"We are actually mobilizing additional resources and will continue to do so until we have everyone up and running,” said David Kimmel with OG&E.

Kimmel said overall the OKC metro has been hit the hardest. But he noted that they have started to see outages pop up farther out in other areas like Enid.

“We get them repaired, fixed and up and then other areas get hit by the incoming storm, then we see those outages grow," said Kimmel.

This is the second largest storm outage in OG&E history with more than 400,000 customers affected. The largest outage was back in 2007.

Kimmel said they don’t have a definite answer to tell people when power will be restored, but he said crews will be working day and night to try and restore power.
