Man Dies After Being Hit By Vehicle In Edmond

Police said a man died Tuesday morning after being hit by a vehicle in Edmond.

According to authorities, the accident was at First Baptist Church of Edmond near East 33rd Street and South Bryant Avenue.

Police said the man, identified at 85-year-old Clyde Cain, was walking to his vehicle after a morning prayer meeting, when he was hit by a friend in the parking lot.

Cain was celebrating his birthday, police said.
