Students at Irving Middle School in Norman are returning to the classroom Tuesday, after the district says a COVID-19 case on campus prompted too many teachers to call in sick Monday.

Students at Irving Middle School in Norman are returning to the classroom Tuesday, after the district says a COVID-19 case on campus prompted too many teachers to call in sick Monday.

In a letter sent to faculty, the district said the call out pattern could be in violation of their contract.

News 9's Colby Thelen spoke with one teacher who says there is another side to the story.
