OKC Bomb Squad Responds To Possible Mortar Shell Outside Grove Apartments

Oklahoma City police said an object believed to be a mortar shell was found Sunday outside the Grove Apartments located at 1120 Glade Avenue.

The object, which officers said resembled a large bullet, was behind a building along the fence line.

Bomb squad was called out to remove it. Officers said the bomb squad will then dispose of it at their range.
