Man Convicted Of Locking Toddler In Dog Crate To Get New Sentence

A Tulsa man convicted of locking his 22-month-old daughter in a dog crate and leaving his 3-year-old out naked and in the cold will get a new sentence.

An appeals court threw out William Lewallen's 23-year prison sentence on Friday, saying jurors didn't get proper instructions.

Lewallen's conviction stands, but a judge will re-sentence him.
