Tulsa Public Schools is holding an unusual donation drive - this time for parents. The TPS Enrollment Center is just a few steps north of the Education Service Center  at 31st and New Haven, and the district says the Enrollment Center has been slammed with visitors recently.

It'll likely just get busier in the next two weeks leading up to the start of school.

The district says the Enrollment Center needs cases of water bottles, pens and pencils for its visitors, and they're asking Tulsans to donate those things.  If you would like to donate those items, TPS asks that you drop them off at the Education Service Center, not the Enrollment Center, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

This call for donations is coming out just before a big enrollment event this Saturday which is expected to draw a lot of parents who can't make it during the week.
