Deputies Arrest OKC Brothers Who Lived In House Where 3 Bodies Found

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office Warrant Team and U.S. Marshals arrested two brothers Tuesday who were wanted on multiple charges. They also lived in a house where three people were shot to death on April 14.

Authorities arrested 25-year-old Juan Carlos Hernandez and his brother, 26-year-old Jose Lucio Hernandez around 1:30 p.m., a day after arrests warrants were issued for them. Both brothers were wanted on complaints of possession of a firearm in commission of felony, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a sawed off shotgun, larceny of motor vehicle, and possession of marijuana.

The men were taken into custody at N.W. 164th and Pennsylvania after a short car pursuit in northwest Oklahoma City. They were booked into the Oklahoma County jail.

Police found 42-year-old James Lumpkin dead in the yard of a home in the 3200 block of S. Durland. Francisco Grajeda, 19, and Kayla Ramirez, 19, were found dead inside the home. Ramirez was Juan Carlos Hernandez's girlfriend.

When police searched the house, they also found weapons, ammunition and what appeared to be marijuana. Detectives later learned the Hernandez brothers lived in the home, and a witness saw Juan Carlos leave moments after gunshots were heard.

Detectives immediately began trying to contact the brothers, but couldn't find them. Jose Hernandez called homicide detectives and left a voicemail, but he refused to come in or tell detectives where he was.

Detectives say the arrests of the Hernandez brothers are unrelated to the triple homicide.
