Guns, Money, Drugs, Seized In Raid At SW OKC Home

An Oklahoma City man was busted with a huge stash of weapons, drugs and ammunition.

A search warrant revealed Jose Murguia is in a gang called Grand Barrio Centrale that is responsible for trafficking a large amount of illegal drugs across the metro.

Murguia walked right up to our camera across the street from his house.

"I saw the camera facing my house and I was like, ‘What the hell?'" Murguia said.

Murguia was recently arrested and police seized a lot of inventory from his home near SW 24th St. and S. Tulsa Ave.

The list of is extensive: 17 firearms, 154 rounds of ammunition, gun magazines, 2 bulletproof vests, 25 pounds of raw marijuana, 48 grams of cocaine, $5,500 in U.S. currency, drug paraphernalia and other items.

The search warrant said he also has a complete surveillance system on his home.

"I can't, I don't even want to talk about it because I don't want the wrong person seeing," Murguia explained.

Murguia would not talk about the items found in his home or whether he sells drugs. He would only admit he has made mistakes and wants to turn his life around for his family.

"I'm trying to clean my life up. I'm going to try to straighten out as much as I can. Other than that, that's all I can tell you right now," he said as he walked away.

Murguia is on a suspended sentence for assault with a dangerous weapon. This is an ongoing investigation for Oklahoma City Police, so they would not comment on it.
