Family and friends gathered in Norman Sunday night to honor the life of man shot and killed in a home invasion. Four suspects sit behind bars for the crime.
Dozens of friends and family members of Justin Barnard gathered at his grandmother's home for a candlelight vigil at the very place where he lost his life.
"He'd always come and help me whenever I needed help for anything. He was always a good natured boy," said grandmother, Dovie Barnard.
Justin Barnard's grandmother calmly remembers her grandson, whose life was taken before her eyes, Thursday night, when she says burglars broke in to her home.

"Justin was swinging that ball bat at that one and that's when that one took the gun away from my face, and then shot him. Then he came back to me and said ‘Now it's your turn grandma,'" said Barnard.
Norman Police arrested four men and say they all are connected somehow to Justin's girlfriend. Friends and family gathered around their home with candles raised high in Justin's honor.
"Yeah I'm going to miss him. I'm going to miss him a lot," said Barnard.
Dovie Barnard said she's doing fine, only a little sore. Justin leaves behind a young son. The family plans to set up an account in Justin's honor tomorrow at chase bank.
