The first-degree murder trial of a Velma man charged with killing a 16-year-old girl has been delayed until January.
Stephens County District Attorney Jason Hicks says the murder trial of 23-year-old Miles Sterling Bench was postponed at the request of defense attorneys. The defense has said it plans to present insanity as a defense.
