Man shot in struggle with police officer

More information is surfacing regarding a shooting in Oklahoma City involving a police officer.

Officials say they received a domestic call to Hefner and North Military where they learned one person was making threats and armed with a gun.

One officer began running after the armed man when he spotted him. Through a struggle, the suspect reached for his firearm. The officer drew his weapon and fired.

Tyrone Bills, the suspect, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The officer involved is now on routine paid administrative leave.
